Typically used for blending in the Rhône Valley, we highlight our 1.25-acre parcel of Tablas clone Mourvèdre in an annual varietal bottling that showcases the unique qualities of the grape. This vintage explodes with bright, fresh cherry notes on the nose, delicately underscored by tilled soil and mushroom earth tones. The palate is gorgeously balanced with exuberant berry notes on the attack, and a supple tannic structure through the mid-palate. The finish is long and complex, with notes of ripe strawberry, eucalyptus, and cinnamon.
