The release of our signature red blend is always one of our favorite moments of the year! Vintage after vintage, this small-lot, age-worthy red is one of the most highly-acclaimed wines in Santa Barbara County. This vintage was tasted by Jeb Dunnuck from the barrel, and he awarded it 94 points and had the following to say about it:
The 2019 Chateau Duplantier checks in as a blend of 33% Syrah, 33% Petite Sirah, 17% Mourvèdre, and 17% Grenache. It offers a deep ruby, almost opaque color to go with a great nose of ripe red and blue fruits as well as peppery herbs and flowery incense. Textured, full-bodied, beautifully balanced, and seamless, this is just beautiful wine. 94 Points
