Our 4.6 acre parcel of Tablas clone Syrah was planted on the highest hill of our estate—the site of an ancient riverbank—25 years ago. Our diurnal climate ripens the grapes during the warm days, then sends the vines into hibernation during the cool nights to preserve acid and structure, resulting in fruit of great elegance and balance. "All varietal, the 2019 Syrah Estate offers considerable elegance as well as medium to full body, ripe tannins, a solid spine of acidity, and complex notes of peppery herbs, gamey meats, tapenade, and peppery red and black fruits.
