2019 Reserve Syrah | 750ml | 14.5% alc

This reserve bottling of our estate Syrah is culled from one specific block of our vineyard, where we find the qualities of sun exposure, elevation, and soil to be ideal for ripening. The stems are removed from the berries, then placed atop the hill amogst the Syrah vines to fully dry in the sun. The dried stems are then introduced into the fermentation. The resulting wine is a totally pure expression of our now over 20 year-old Syrah parcel.

Acclaimed Rhône wine writer Jeb Dunnuck had this to say about the 2019 vintage of our premiere Syrah bottling:

Rocking blackberries, peppery herbs, violets, spring flowers, and hints of game all emerge from this Côte Rôtie look-alike, and it’s medium to full-bodied, with a beautifully layered, texture mouthfeel, ripe tannins, and a great finish.
