2020 Reserve Syrah | 750ml | 15.9% alc

This reserve bottling of our estate Syrah is culled from one specific block of our vineyard, where we find the qualities of sun exposure, elevation, and soil to be ideal for ripening. The stems are removed from the berries, then placed atop the hill amogst the Syrah vines to fully dry in the sun. The dried stems are then introduced into the fermentation. The resulting wine is a totally pure expression of our now over 20 year-old Syrah parcel.

Acclaimed Rhône wine writer Jeb Dunnuck had this to say about the 2020 vintage of our premiere Syrah bottling:

“...the 2020 Syrah Estate Reserve is similarly ruby/purple-hued and offers a bit more complexity in its ripe red and black fruits, cedary spice, dried herbs, and flower incense. It too is beautiful on the palate, with ripe tannins, great overall balance, and a terrific finish.” 94 Points
