Rock Hollow is a nearly 20-year-old vineyard site in Los Olivos District planted to Cabernet Sauvignon, Sauvignon Blanc, and Petite Sirah. The Petite Sirah we source from this hilly, sustainably-farmed property is inky purple, richly tannic, and highly ageworthy. This bold, structured, and opulent red features the Adobe series label "El Rey," or "The King," in reference to the era when The King of Spain owned the land upon which our adobe now stands. Nearly opaque in color, dark tones of plum, blood orange, graphite, and dried raspberry abound. Fleshy and textured, it's a wine that shows well now, but will evolve in complex and pleasing ways over the years.
