For over ten years now, we've sourced fruit from the superb La Encantada Vineyard in the Sta. Rita Hills. This very special site as always provided us with absolutely stellar, cool-climate Pinot Noir fruit, and our 2021 vintage is no exception. Wild strawberry, tilled soil, and graphite meld with underripe raspberry and black plum notes on the nose. A subtle hint of crushed black peppercorns enhances the palate, which is brightened by lovely, lifted black cherry tones. Fine-grain tannins ensure a graceful aging process, which will reveal nuanced complexity over time.
