2021 Reserve Syrah |750aml | 15.7% alc

This reserve bottling of our estate Syrah is culled from one specific block of our vineyard, where we find the qualities of sun exposure, elevation, and soil to be ideal for ripening. The stems are removed from the berries, then placed atop the hill amogst the Syrah vines to fully dry in the sun. The dried stems are then introduced into the fermentation. The resulting wine is a totally pure expression of our now over 20 year-old Syrah parcel.

Acclaimed Rhône wine writer Jeb Dunnuck had this to say about the 2021 vintage of our premiere Syrah bottling:

“...the 2021 Syrah Estate Reserve is 100% Syrah that spent about 26 months in 50% new French oak. It’s similarly deeper ruby-hued and has lots of peppery blackberry fruits, some herbal, meaty, leathery notes, medium to full body, ripe tannins, and a great finish.
