The legendary Happy Canyon Vineyard provides us with the fruit for this stunning annual bottling. The Happy Canyon AVA is a short drive from our own property, about 8 miles east of us, but just this brief distance reveals a distinctly suitable climate for ripening Bordeaux varietals.

The 2021 vintage is a premier example of why the wine has become so popular. The nose shows expressive notes of red and purple flower, blackberry, and candied fig. The palate showcases a fine-grained tannin that provides an elegant structure to support the complex array of bright spice, deep berry, and luscious red fruit elements.
