A magnum is a large-format bottling that is equivalent to two standard bottles of wine
One of the coolest-climate vineyards in the entire state, the sustainably-farmed Sierra Madre Vineyard has long been heralded an iconic site for growing premium Chardonnay in California. The sandy-loam soils are perfectly suited to the varietal, resulting in low yields that are highly concentrated with loads of bright minerality. There is a serious richness to the palate, which is surprising when considering how in-balance the oak elements are. Tertiary notes such as toasted macadamia nut and baked pie crust are in perfect harmony with bright key lime and yellow flower tones.
