Thompson Vineyard is one of our favorite sites for growing Syrah in the entire Santa Barbara County. Our parcel is planted to the Estrella clone, which has the propensity to produce jammy, fruit forward Syrah. This bottling certainly shows those elements while maintaining a supple elegance that makes it a great pairing with pork dishes as well as fattier red meats and dark chocolate.
