2017 Estate Syrah | 750ml | 15.0% alc

Our 4.6 acre parcel of Tablas clone Syrah was planted on the highest hill of our estate—the site of an ancient riverbank—almost 25 years ago. Our diurnal climate ripens the grapes during the warm days, then sends the vines into hibernation during the cool nights to preserve acid and structure, resulting in fruit of great elegance and balance. "The 2017 Syrah Estate saw a longer maceration as well as 27 months in 15% new French oak. It's deep ruby/plum color is followed by classic Syrah notes of blackberries, ground pepper, spice box, and dried herbs. It's medium to full-bodied, nicely textured, has sweet tannins, and a great finish. 91-93 points"
